Identify the parts and watch the Dune video
Lay out the HD arm, collar, 4×8 top and locking bricks. Watch the Ornithopter video to see how the locking bricks secure the top. Use the attachment point and orientation specified for your own set.
Mark the mounting holes
Choose a location with clearance for the whole model. Hold the empty arm against the wall, level it, and mark both holes through the wall plate. Set the arm aside. Prepare the holes for your wall and hardware. If you are using anchors, seat them flush.
Fasten the HD arm
Align the wall plate with both holes. Start both screws, check the alignment, and tighten them gradually until the arm sits firmly against the wall.
Slide on the optional screw cover
With the socket still empty, slide the cover over the socket and along the arm until it seats against the wall plate.
Fit the 4×8 top and locking bricks
Support the model on a stable surface. Locate its intended underside attachment point. Press the 4×8 top squarely into place, then fit the supplied locking bricks to secure it to the surrounding brickwork. Check that the top and both sides of the connection are fully seated before lifting.
Seat the ball and tighten the collar
Support the model while guiding the ball into the arm socket. Engage the collar threads by hand and tighten it until it holds the model at the chosen angle. Keep supporting the model while adjusting the joint.
Check the display
Release your support gradually. Check that the wall plate stays firm, the model holds its angle and the locking bricks remain seated. Support the model again before changing the display angle.
