Check the LARGE arm and T-6 Shuttle head
Find the supplied LARGE arm, collar and custom 1×4 braced head. Hold the shuttle supported while locating the intended underside connection and checking clearance for its wings.
Mark and secure the arm
Hold the empty arm against the wall and mark both mounting holes. Check for hidden services. Use a stud where practical, or wall hardware rated for the wall material and loaded display. Prepare pilot holes or anchors as directed for the fasteners. Start both screws and tighten until the wall plate sits firmly without bending.
Slide the optional screw cover along the arm
If using the screw cover, fit it after both wall screws are snug and before installing the ball head. With the socket still bare, align the cover opening with the socket at the tip of the arm. Slide the cover over the socket and along the arm until it seats against the wall plate and conceals the screws. Support the arm and guide the cover gently. If it catches, check the orientation before continuing.
Seat the ball and fit the locking collar
Lower the ball into the socket, then thread the locking collar straight onto the socket by hand. Support the model whenever adjusting it. Loosen the collar slightly, tilt or rotate the head, and retighten by hand before releasing the model.
Seat the T-6 Shuttle on the braced head
Support the shuttle with both hands. Align its intended underside connection with the custom 1×4 top and seat it squarely, with the brace bearing evenly against the underside. If the brace leaves a gap or the studs do not align, lift the model off and check the orientation.
Adjust and check the display
Keep the model supported while loosening the collar just enough to adjust the angle. Retighten the collar by hand. Release gradually only when the head holds its position and the brick connection and wall plate are steady.
