DIY Glass Shelf Brackets for IKEA Detolf Glass Display Cabinet!

Check your brackets and shelf
Confirm that the brackets match your Detolf frame and that all clamping hardware is present. Inspect the shelf for damage. The original guide lists an original shelf size of about 11.5 × 15 inches and examples around 11 × 14 inches; measure your cabinet and support positions rather than choosing by those dimensions alone.
Set the bracket height
With the shelf removed, position the brackets on the existing cabinet frame at the desired height. Use a level to align the support surfaces. Leave sufficient clearance for the objects you intend to display.
Tighten the brackets
Hold each bracket in position and tighten its clamping hardware with an Allen key. Tighten gradually until it stays securely in place without deforming the printed parts. Recheck the height and level across the supports.
Place and check the shelf
Lower the shelf carefully onto the supports. Check that it rests fully on every support without rocking or sliding. If a bracket moves or the shelf does not fit, remove the shelf and correct the installation. Use a shelf material and thickness suitable for the intended load.
