Check your mount and wall hardware
Check that the mount matches the product you ordered and inspect the printed part for visible damage before starting. A single-part mount is supplied as one complete piece, ready to attach to the wall. Identify the face that sits against the wall, the wall-mounting holes, and the area that supports or locates your set. Check any product-specific illustration if the correct orientation is unclear. Have suitable wall screws and any required anchors ready. Wall hardware is included only if you ordered it; check that the wall screws and anchors are appropriate for your installation surface. Keep your set off the mount until the wall installation is complete.
Choose the location and mark the holes
Choose a display location with enough space for the full size of your set, including any pieces that extend beyond its base. Allow room to place and remove it without catching nearby objects or striking the wall or ceiling. Where practical, position the wall screws over a wall stud. Use a stud finder if needed. If a wall screw cannot go into a stud, use an anchor suitable for the wall material and the load it will support. Hold the empty mount against the wall in its intended orientation. Use a level to check its alignment, then mark every required mounting hole with a fine-tip pen or pencil. Keep any intentionally angled support at its designed angle. Set the mount aside before preparing the wall.
Prepare the wall for screws and anchors
Follow the screw or anchor manufacturer’s instructions for the correct hole size, drilling depth, and installation method. Check for concealed wiring or pipes before drilling. If anchors are required, prepare the marked holes and fit the anchors as directed. For screws going into a stud, prepare any pilot holes required by the screw manufacturer. Keep the mounting-hole locations aligned with the marks made from your mount. Check that the anchors are installed correctly and that the wall around the mounting holes is undamaged. If an anchor spins, a hole is damaged, or a screw or anchor will not hold securely, correct the problem before attaching the mount. Tightening harder will not repair an unsuitable or loose screw or anchor.
Secure the mount to the wall
Place the empty mount against the wall and line up its mounting holes with the prepared positions. Support the mount while inserting the appropriate wall screws. Start the screws before fully tightening any one screw, using all mounting holes required for your mount. Check the alignment again, then tighten the screws gradually with the correct screwdriver until the mount is held firmly against the wall. Stop when it is secure; do not overtighten, crush the printed mounting points, or force the part to bend against an uneven surface. Gently check the empty mount for rocking or movement. If it shifts or a wall screw or anchor loosens, stop and resolve the issue before placing your set. Do not pull on the support or hang extra weight from it as a test.
Position your set on the mount
Support your set with both hands and bring it carefully into position on the mount made for that model. Follow any product-specific placement instructions, and align the base or intended attachment point with the mount’s support or locating features. Make sure the intended contact points are fully seated and the set’s weight is supported by the mount. Avoid balancing the set on an edge, resting it on loose decorative pieces, or forcing a connection that does not align. Gradually release your support only when the set stays in place without rocking, sliding, or tipping. If it feels unstable, support and remove it, then check that you have the correct mount and orientation before trying again.
Check the finished display
Check the completed installation: the mount should remain firmly against the wall, the wall screws and anchors should stay secure, and your set should sit steadily in its intended position. Confirm there is enough clearance around the display and that no part is being pressed against the wall or a nearby object. Keep the mount at its designed display angle. Do not bend it, add improvised spacers, or loosen screws to tilt the set more aggressively. An unstable installation can allow the set to fall and cause damage or injury. Support the set whenever you reposition or remove it. If you notice movement, cracking, or loosening later, remove the set and check the mount, wall screws, and anchors before using the display again. Once everything is secure, step back and enjoy your display.
